As Drai’s night club launches LOVEJUICE, our fabulous new Saturday pool party brunch, we thought we’d help a brother and sister out by bringing you some brunch tips.
The UK import that is LOVEJUICE might have been wowing the Brits for over 10 years now, but let’s face it, when it comes to brunch nobody does it quite like us Dubaians.
But hey, there’s brunching, and then there’s Drai’s brunching, so we at the hot new Dubai beach club the party people love, bring you our guide to making the most of the LOVEJUICE pool party brunch.
Come straight from where you were last night
Our doors open at 12pm. So if you don’t want last night’s party to end, gather the crew, hop in a stretch limo/Uber/taxi/helicopter (depending on what’s left in your wallet) and head down.
Look fabulous
Inject a lil’ Vegas style into your LOVEJUICE brunch look with a sniff of leopard print, a ridic heel (don’t worry, you can always kick ‘em off later), perhaps even an up-all-night hairdo. We won’t judge. Safe space, people, safe space.
Eat barefoot
We have a friend who swears on his life that food tastes better with your shoes off. It makes him horrible to go to posh restaurants with but aces to beach club brunch with. Try it.
Don’t eat in the pool
Add this to the long list of certain behaviours not to do in a pool (you KNOW that list!) So, even if you’re a gold medallist in the discipline of floating swan balancing at the beach club Olympics, balance that plate on the table, not your toned, tanned thighs.
Book a Jacuzzi
Go on and treat yo’self. After all, it’s your birthday. Oh, it isn’t? Well, it must be someone’s birthday. Somewhere. In the world. Celebrate on their behalf.
